Glad to see there are a couple of Hockey fans in here.
Anyone rooting for Montreal this year? Because if you do i'm sorry but they are going to be miserable. Samsonov and Mike Johnson is not enough to get a team going. Huet will have to be fantastic between the posts. My friend and I have made a bet about Samsonov. He says he'll score more than 30 goals and I laughed at his pathetic carcass and said "You're on". What do you think? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
I agree that the Habs forum is full of "Fans" that have no clue what objectivity is. Anyway, I don't think Huet is a bad goaltender but I think that, like most goalies, his confident is fragile, in this case, because of the Montreal fans that put too much pressure on the team or on a certain player to make the team succeed. As I said earlier, he's going to have to get is A game going if the Canadiens want to succeed this, which I think they won't. The scenario from last year will probably repeat itself; They'll push really hard to get into the playoffs and fail miserably because of poor confidence in themselves. Last playoffs was a fiasco after Koivu's eye injury. Saku was not playing that good but they still managed to win the 2 first games. And then, he gets injured, the fans cry, and the team enters playoff ending cold streak of loss. Shows you how much confidence and depth the team has. Anyway, I'm glad you agree with me on that Samsonov bet because, like you, I based my reasonning behind his poor performance on the regular season last year. Even if he does better than last year, I don't think he can top the 30 goal mark. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Dude, the Islanders GM is a nutcase. I yhought that under the new NHL's salary cap, long-term contracts would be gone. I guess I got prooved wrong.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Damn! Colombus is really surprising me this year. I'll admit they added some pretty good players to their line-up in the off-season but I didn't think they would do that good, especially tonight.
And my habs are doing great too hehe. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body?

The habs, have been pretty consistent sonce the beginning of the season which was not the case in previous years. Let's see what the future holds for them. How ya doing, buddy?

Montreal fans weren't any better 3 days ago when they booed Brisebois and Theo. Brisebois helped this team the most he could in his entire career and was willing to take risk to score a goal, something most players don't have the balls to do. He also just gave 50 000$ to Ste-Justine's hospital and he still got booed. What a lack of respect. And yes he's my favorite player so I'm biased.
As for Théo, he destroyed the Bruins by himself in that 2003-2004 post-season serie and everybody treated him as a hero. Point: Montreal fans are hypocrite motherfuckers whom I hate, and I'm ashamed to even consider myself as one. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Habs can't win anymore... Really dissapointing.
