You've been to Sri Lanka? WTF?

I'm amazed at the places most of you people have been...I feel so poorly-traveled. Reading this thread makes me want to walk to the Greyhound station and buy a ticket to San Francisco, or out into the wilderness away from everyone and everything, or SOMETHING!

Most of my travels so far have been parental vacations...and my parents have a knack for traveling to BORING places!

Iowa (no surprise!)
Illinois (also not much of a surprise...until I went to college, I lived about ten minutes away from the I-74 bridge to Moline.)
Wisconsin (very boring.)
Michigan (even from the highway, Detroit is amazingly depressing to drive through...my dad wandered around the Ford Museum for half a day, too!)
South Dakota (The Badlands are amazingly eerie, even with all of the tourists walking around.)
Missouri (drove through, but at least I saw the Gateway Arch...from a few miles away.)
Arkansas (only thing I remember from here is Crater of Diamonds...didn't find any diamonds, though I did find a couple of really pretty crystals!)
Texas (one of my sisters lives there...all I remember is running around on the beach in Corpus Christi.)
Alabama (Space Camp!)
Tennessee (drove through on the interstate.)
Kentucky (stopped just long enough to eat once...I remember that the scenery where we drove through was REALLY pretty, though.)
Nebraska (the eastern half of the state is really empty and brown and dead.)
Indiana (where do we change time zones, exactly?)
Ohio (mostly a drive-through, but we did stop at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and overpriced Sam Goody.)
That little bit of Pennsylvania between Ohio and New York
New York (meandering from the area by Lake Erie, up to Niagara Falls, through Ontario, through upstate, to the city, and back out!)
Ontario (YES! I'm an international traveler! My dad tried to drive through downtown Toronto at noon...I don't think he'll ever cross the border again.)
