One of my biggest fears is not being able to breathe. This probably stems from having several asthma attacks as a child. Another big fear of mine is sustaining injury or illness that would leave me without full use of my brain. That's one reason that I'm afraid of getting old because all of the old folks I know are quite a bit slower than I ever want to be. I also have a fear of rejection and of failure, though both to a much lesser extent than the others.
