most characters that you get off sites have some kinda move list you can either look at or download and just put into the characters file but i guess that becoming more of a hassle for people to make and put up.

yea importing characters over from other games doesnt really work out to well unless they were just thrown together and theres nothing special about the mugen game its just a set of characters and stages put together. But like wooshaq's mugen game i cant take out the characters and put them in mine cause of all the work hes done to them.

dragon it has to do with you music cause if it still sounds all scratchy or skips alot then you have to go to your control panel.
then go to sound,speech,audio devices
then sound and audio
then go to speaker settings and click advanced
go to performance then turn the hardware all the way down to none or zero.

this should stop the random crashing but if it doesnt then it might be a character problem and you will have to test all your characters till you find the one it crashes on

Aros i use mugen fighting jam but mine isnt in that weird language your talking about. Well it does but none of those files have anything to do with what you need. There should be another folder that has all the files in one spot that you need to find.

Now you want to find the file that has everything in it like the select, system, and mugen cfg file, copy all of that and put it in the main file so the data file for your mugen can find it without going through that extra file.

Aros i know now and realize my mistake. There are the different forms that have the catagories and everything like in the pics with the links i gave you and im sorry for that but this is gonna take experimentation on your part to find which style you like best and use those files that you copy out of whatever folder you get them from. dont give up man mugen is all about experimenting trust me.

meh if someone is at level 30 here it means they started way before us. Just my opinion though i mean the only real thing i post here for is mugen and a few other things but thats about it. Senority sucks.

To most of the people with screen problems change your doubleres to whatever you want...most people use 4. To change it go to your mugen.cfg file and just ctrl+f and search double res then change it.
The music problem was solved for the most part. The original music driver mugen comes with sucks so just download a new one and your set.

I recommend the videos that neokazu posted because the guy thats fighting(david2draw) is very good and beats some of the toughest mugen creations and is sought after for testing new characters against. He also posts many links for the stages and characters he uses so if you see something you like there may be a link to it.

Yea there are some kinda cheap tricks in mugen but there are also some commands that you can use in-game or during watch mode.

Like most people dont get to fight who they want unless it comes up in arcade. But by hitting ctrl+1 in watch mode you take control of the first fighter and can fight whoever you chose as your opponent.

Then theres everyones personal favorite just hitting f1 to kill there opponent.

you can do that in the in-game mugen options and just change the controls around.

i just bought a logitech pad and had to get it replaced cause i played it to much and with so many emotional moments i had to get a new one but i think logitech does a good job so i recommend them.
