you can get whoever you want off those sites as long as the link is avaliable. randomselect has some good hosted characters that you should pick up though.

I kinda wondered what country that was for you flag wooshaq but now i know. For death maul(its what his mugen name is) you would have had to have downloaded him a long time ago but now he is almost impossible to get. He isnt that good of a fighter i think i beat him several times and isnt really worth the effort of collecting.

and to continue on mrallex's post there are tutorials on youtube just search mugen tutorials. I recommend the ones by txtrocker as i learned a lot from him in the early going.

yea those two downloads ensure that new comers dont have to do a lot of tedious searching or begging to get characters and saves everyone some time in the end. Good Job mrallex

-10fenix you need to assign some stages to your characters and this will remove the random crashing problem.
-Wooshaq i like what you did and i looks good although is the screen supposed to stay red like that???
-Rock to stop the sound from doin that you go to your control panel. Then to sound speech and audio devices. Then to sound and audio. Then from speaker settings pick advanced and performance then turn the hardware acceleration to none. This should stop the chopy sounds.
-Summonmaster you should try conversion world and shin akuma's site for stages if you havent hit them up already.

Then you havent been lookin hard enough dude but give me an email and i can get you some of those characters just for asking. But if you want to save time if you look back through this whole topic you can pick up quite a few good characters including thor who i think is quite a challenge.

light i reommend you find some different screen packs like the EVE battle or the Mugen Fighting Jam that way you can load a lot of characters from almost every fighting game. There are torrents at the very beginning of the topic posted by soldier that still work and have quite a few good characters.

All right im gonna post some stuff up due to rock saying that no one of the previous links for mugen work so here i go.

To get a clean start on mugen without anything going for you, you want to watch this video as it will get you started on mugen.

i know it kinda sucks but if you cant find a character/stage you want or the link is down try google to find the character/stage. Its kinda of guess and click i know but i found many good characters on my google travels for another character so dont get down on yourselves.

Last but not least dont be afraid to request a character or stage here becuase odds on someone here probly has it and would be willing to share.

i think life bars are too much of a hassle... unless they really bother you that much then there is no reason to change them unless they suck and look really dumb. As long as you can rip your enemy apart with a good combo or attack then the lifebare shouldnt matter.

Wooshaq is right about wharehousing here especially you vboy. The reason why mugen went down and didnt stay around is cause people just gave out others work without asking or even giving any credit to someone who worked very hard to make such a great character. Most of the reasons you dont see the links to creators sites is cause of warehousing and people killing of mugen that way. Sure were all pirates cause we dont have time to make the characters ourselves or dont have the talent but thats not the way the creators see and it thats why most of the good ones have left mugen for good.

vboy people have egos and those egos make them want to be appreciated for there works. I browsed many a website getting characters and talking to authors while you went and clicked maybe two things and got a torrent full of characters and stages. It pisses them off because they arent getting any credit and no one looks at the credit pages in the character files cause they dont care they just want to download and play/watch. Most places that warehouse characters dont even put up author names they just have a dwn load here and you click and go on your merry way. So its your opinion that whiners kill mugen i think your wrong and that warehouses kill mugen.

gee ff9 fan i only posted that site a while back. Wooshaq is right once again making final fantasy and other rpg characters is hard work for a character maybe 2-3 inches high in game. The only reallly good final fantasy characters are kinda cheap boss characters like sephiroth and omega weapon. If you wanted a normal size character you really have to stretch the sprites and then it just looks like crap. So there you go.
