My Stick Insect died because.... god only knows. It just went missing, I think the other insects ate it.
My first cat died of possibly liver/ kidney failure.
Snake (garter snake) died of old age.
Owl: Dad pissed, gave it it's freedom on New Years.
Dog: my birthday present - soon after parents spilt up, dog goes with mother, I go other way. Several years later, I look after dog for one weekend, take it out to field for a run (it's a Lurcher - Greyhound X) off the lead for about 30 seconds, trips over a stick and breaks it's neck. About a week later gets put down.
Meanwhile...
Rat: Died of lead poisoning
My cat: had to get it put to sleep last November due to an infection/ tumour. Most horrible thing ever. Had this pet the longest, 10 years, most fucking horrible thing ever having to get it put down. All for the best though, but I still miss the little bugger.
The worst thing about that was that the very next day, I recieved an envolope from the Vets containing a card and a packet of 'Forget me Not' seeds. The bastards.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
