I on the other hand wasn't so lucky. This happened nine years ago~ I don't know how my "friend" talked me into it but I lent him my precious copy of Final Fantasy VI for the SNES. I paid quite a bit for that game too, around 80 dollars if I remember correctly. He said it'll probably take him a couple weeks to beat the game so I thought, "alright, have fun." Three weeks went by so I decide to get a progress check on him. To my horror he said he ended up lending it to another friend that wanted to play it! I didn't know what to say after that. So I tell him to get it back to me as soon as possible. Another week rolls by so I check on him again-- This time he says his friend lost it ;_;. Of course I called bullshit so I tell him to pay me back or buy me a new copy (haha, right.) Haven't seen the fucker since. But if I saw him today I'd probably throw him across a room.
