I'm going to diverge off the subject of video games a bit but keep talking about friendly fire.
YOu know those laser tag games? Like in real like and you wear the suit and the laser gun and shoot the other guys in some crappy maze flooded in UV light? I haven't played a round of those where I haven't come off as the biggest team killer. I'm colourblind. Flouro colours are pretty much the worst and I cannot for the life of me tell the difference between the green team and the orange team. Blue and Red teams? Hell no let's choose colours that 1/30 of the male population will struggle with. Usually I have to try and tell teammates and opponents about by either their faces (memorising the apearance of strangers is beyond difficult) or whethor or not they're shooting at me. Goddamn laser tag. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
