4 USB gamepads + USB hub (most computers don't have 4 USB slots) + fast enough computer to run the emulator well + finding a good ROM + spyware from the website you downloaded it from + having to hook up your cpu to a TV + all the other technical issues you will get from your computer = NOT worth it! Plus, the cost of it all is ridiculous. Yes, you can download other free ROMS to use with the pads, but if we're just talking about emulation here, then it's not worth it. Now, if you already own the pads, and already have all of this setup, then, you don't have much of a reason to buy Mario Kart 64! This is for the people who prefer convenience over piracy, it's as simple as that.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Frankly I think Nintendo's going at a fine pace with their releases. Yes it would be nice if all the good games came out right away but there's already enough stuff there to keep you busy for a long time. Plus, if Zelda 64, Goldeneye 64, Mario 64 and the original Smash Bros. all came out on the same day, their servers would implode.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

SHINING FUCKING FORCE.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

You know, it's interesting... people DO get more excited about RPG's on the VC than anything else. Shadow says it's because of the price of the original carts these days, but I think it's gotta be something else because I don't try to buy the originals and I'm still excited about them.
Odd. It's not like I don't enjoy Super Mario Bros... but I'd just rather play Super Mario RPG. Nostalgia?

Hmm, I already wasted $80 of VC games because the first Wii I had borked. Not sure if I want to go back to it... >_>
If you sent it to Nintendo, they should've included all the VC games you had purchased when they sent it back...

I was speaking idiomatically.

YES!!!!! I haven't played this since I had it on the SNES so long ago. Soon I will relive one of my favorite memories as a child.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Does anyone know if Japan ever got their Super Mario RPG? I don't see how it would be so hard for them to make up for the mistake that was E3 and just release some more good classics. I mean, it's been about 6 months since their last one yeah?

What, you don't want my bikini-clad body?

See, I'm one of the people who will download it for the Wii regardless because I know it will run correctly no matter what. My computer (laptop) overheats all the time and makes game playing pretty much impossible, and I'll gladly pay $10-15 more total to enjoy the game, instead of spending $2000 on a new computer just to run it.

Wasn't the game never released in Europe and Australia or something? That would explain the 100 points extra.

In either case, this is a 100%, no-questions-asked no-brainer PURCHASE for me.
