Sitting through that telephone recording felt like it did when I was trying to cancel my free trial of AOL. He just kept repeating the same stuff over and over again. I suggest listeners to skip to the last few minutes, where the useful information starts .

The only current-gen example we have of this type of gameplay mechanic can be found in DDR, where, if you're not in shape, you LOSE. Horribly.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Umm, from what I've read on IGN, Link DOES carry around his items. He has the bow slung over his shoulder when he's not using it, you can see his bomb bag being carried at his side when you get it, etc. Also, apparently, when you're carrying more items around Link moves slower. While it wasn't clear how this would be executed, I assume that the three items you have assigned to the quick-access bar are the ones you see on him. 'Cause it would look pretty ridiculous seeing him run around with a bazillion items. And apparently there are quite a few more in this game than in OoT.

Yeah, it's been something Nintendo's been plugging from their very first announcement of Wii specs a long time ago, so you must've been under a rock . The Wii is Wi-Fi ready out of the box, and there is no built-in ethernet cable plug, but you can buy a USB adaptor to use ethernet if you absolutely can't get wireless.

Exactly. Plus, the fact that they have to conform to the keyboard and mouse standard only shows the flaws in their own controller. I'm glad Nintendo is actually doing something new and fresh, and who knows, it really COULD end up being better than a PC mouse.
Also, the Wii has been spotted in another top-10 list...

I was surprised as well at the lack of N64 games... AND WHY DOES EUROPE GET DKC BUT NOT THE US?!?!?!
*sigh* The Donkey Kong series was one of my favorites on the SNES... I guess we'll get it eventually!
And, quite frankly, I don't care as much about what VC titles the Wii is launching with, since I'll be drowning in the new Zelda, and by the time I'm ready to move on they'll have like every game ever concieved available on the VC, assuming they DO release 10 games a month on it.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Just for everyone's info, some random website has photos of the first Wii kiosk up at a GameStop in Florida! It looks... DAMN SEXY.
And apparently the Wiimotes aren't connected to anything so you have to turn your keys in to the desk in order to try it out. Ummm... what are kids gonna do? However I did think the fact that Nintendo's basically forcing retail outlets to help people try out the Wii for the first time is actually a good idea, especially for people who've never played games before and have no idea what to do. AND, having Excite Truck set up is also a good idea, but maybe Wii Sports would've been better. Whatever. At least the KIOSKS ARE COMING!

Yeah I'm wondering if they'll keep the same policy at BB.... and also, kids ages 12-15 usually can't drive (hence, no keys) but also don't walk around the mall with their parents (the ones who would have the keys), so I was wondering what the heck they would turn in?

Then, good sir, you are a FOOL.

PlanetGamecube: "I've played the game long enough to come to the conclusion that I don't want to use a traditional controller to play Twilight Princess."

GoNintendo: "I seriously cannot see myself playing the Cube version and enjoying it nearly as much."

IGN: "If you have the means to buy Twilight Princess for Wii and you still get it for GameCube, you are a fool."

There's three more positive articles about TP for the Wii. And who the hell uses Edge as their primary source of game info? EH?! :lolsign:

Then you are a fool, according to Matt Cassamassina of IGN. The Wii version has better gameplay because of the controls, hands-down, and it also supports a widescreen mode. The sensitivity can be adjusted as much as you want for your fraile, shaky little hands, as well.

Damnit!
That's a good point. I hadn't thought of that. Can someone test this out to see if it's true?

Maybe not "simple" Mii games, but things like Mario Party and any Mario sports property are fair game for stuff to fill the gaps.

They will be in shortage for a while, unfortunately. I've been looking for one and I know a lot of other people who have as well.
