I sorta wish RABicle was here.
I found his version of E3 (something about Reggie smashing things on stage and roundhouse Sony executives in the groin) and the real one (powerpoint presentations with lots of extra and totally useless plastic add-ons for the Wiimote to be clashing in the most magnificent way. My hopes? A new Zelda, built for Wii without waggling, a new Mario sidescroller for either DS or Wii and almost no focus on soccer moms, grannies and kids. Only hardcore games this time around, please. Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
![]() And it'll happen soon. Like world peace. Later guys, I have to take a swim in the gumdrop coloured paradise that is my lawn. Pet a unicorn, frolick with a pegasus and be one with nature. There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
Bleh, it looks like my wishes were to unrealistic. No Mario or Zelda. I'm surprised about GTA, though. Can I finally beat up hookers and steal their cash on Nintendo? Spoiler:
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
Davi Drum or what did they call him. I won't pass judgement, but I sure hope that people'll look a bit... smarter while playing the drums.

I have absolutely no grasp of economics. I don't now how Nintendo or anyone else's finances are.
But I think that the split focus is a mistake from Nintendo's side. I know that Nintendo has sold an obscene amount of hardware, and that Nintendogs is one of their most popular titles (I know this, because Nintendo keeps saying it. "Hey, remember this game we made two years ago? Wasn't it COOL!?") However, I keep thinking to myself: How many women ages 30+ buy more than, say, two games a year. Or those girls which fell in love with Nintendogs? As I see it, we have a large user base, but only, perhaps, 50% buys more games. So developers can't actually say how many games they'll sell, and thus might use less on them. I'll repeat this before anyone rips me a new one: I don't know anything about economics and such, so I might be talking crap. If that's the case, please educate me in a civil manner. I was speaking idiomatically. ![]() |
