I actually just watched the movie yesterday. Definitely not up to Shyamalan's good movies (The Sixth Sense, The Signs) but not as bad as The Village either.
Felt as if I as the audience was being ridiculed by someone telling me, an adult, a bedtime story that feel's like it's made on the fly. I could've accepted at least some kind of a red line in the "this is it! ...no this is it!... wait, this is it, I know" plot "changes", but no.
Shyamalan needs to find himself better scripts. He's got a really unique mood to his movies that really goes to waste into sequential crap like this.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
