The music is purposefully masked/downgraded to sound like that. Like listening to midi versions of OWA.
It's Uematsu's handiwork, I'm most certain, because of my vgm learnings. It's not Ito (who did the six first SaGa games). This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
