You can't even charge it through USB without spending more money for some gayass charging kit. Though that's an ongoing theme with the 360. Want wireless networking? Buy a separate adapter. The PS3 was definitely weak during its first year, but now the price has been dropped, the console's firmware has been much improved and will completely catch up with the 360 this month (with the addition of in-game XMB and game trophies), and I think its interface is much more elegant than the Dashboard, plus the console itself is probably the best-looking ever. As for the games, with fantastic exclusives like Metal Gear Solid 4, LittleBigPlanet and Valkyria Chronicles, I think the PS3 is the clear winner this year.

That said, I am mostly being facetious, of course. Just pick whichever console has more exclusives that you want. And at least weren't even considering the Wii. Nintendo fans are the worst kind of scum.

That's one thing I wouldn't defend about the PS3. I mean the motion sensor is just shit, completely worthless. Removing vibration was a fiasco. At least DualShock 3 is finally available now, so it's not a problem anymore.

a) I wasn't 'defending' PSN (I don't think it needs to be defended)

b) I didn't say it was superior to Live. Both services work fine as far as I'm concerned; whichever is used by more of your friends is 'superior'
