'Blogging' is (mostly) a total waste of space on the internet. Just because you have an opinion about something doesn't mean that it's not worthless, and just because you have a life doesn't mean that it's not boring and you should share it with anyone.

Of course, most message boards are terrible. Though at least they allow for the possibility of more purposeful communication than just some guy telling the world what anime he watched and how politicians suck.
I'm not really saying that all blogs are bad per se, by the way. There are a few that I read myself. It's just that the current 'Web 2.0' trend dictates that everyone has to have a damn blog, even if they have nothing worthwhile to say. Paging Arsenal Gear to Web 2.0. There's nowhere I can't reach.
