Chocolate Outline: fucking awesome as fucking hell, especially the first half a minute. I would love the song even more if it was completely ambient, without the strings. Either way, though, I think this track might become the winner this week.
Ruthless. Amon Tobin rocks; his Stoney Street from Bricolage is one of my favourite songs ever, not only in the ambient category. This song here, though, could benefit from a catchier melody. It's still good, though; I like it. Complex Thoughts and Kiss Twice are both great. Kiss Twice seems to be more complex (ironically) and interesting, but I love the instruments used in Complex Thoughts, as well as the general feel of the song. It's hard to say which one of these I like more. I like the other songs as well, maybe with the exception of Dance With a Crocodile, which is simply too fast for my taste, and Techno Rave, which is too techno. 3 points: Chocolate Outline 2 points: very tough choice, but Complex Thoughts just barely wins, because Kiss Twice will probably get enough votes without my help 1 point: Ruthless All in all, great-great-great week. Four of these songs will definitely be looped on my Winamp for hundreds of times, and the other four aren't half bad either. Jam it back in, in the dark. Nothing wrong with not being strong
Nothing says we need to beat what's wrong Nothing manmade remains made long That's a debt we can't back out of
