Importing console controllers
This may be a dumb question, but I'm pretty clueless when it comes to importing console hardware. I'm looking to import a Sega Surfwave from Lik-sang. Am I going to run into any compatibility issues by attempting to use the controller on an unmodded region 1 PS2? I imagine it shouldn't be a problem, but it can't hurt to be sure.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
No problems whatsoever. Despite power voltage differences, once it passes through the console's power adaptor, everything is universal. I have two Japanese controllers for my Gamecube.
Most arcade sticks and the like sold at gaming stores are usually just imported from Japan anyway. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Thanks for the help! I went ahead and ordered it.
Anyone by chance have any personal experience with the Sega Surfwave? The reviews for it have been excellent, but I always like to get the opinions from first hand users as well. How ya doing, buddy? |
