iTunes 7.0 Question
Is there any way to get the new iTunes to sort albums by ALBUM title alone when using the modes that display album art? It's really annoying for videogame music because I tell it to sort by album, but it sorts by album and artist. OSTs like Okami and Ace Combat 5 are split up into about 5 bajillion albums with 1-5 tracks each. Seriously. This shit is retarded.

I think I've tried that with Twin Snakes, and it sorts it by whether or not certain tracks of that same album have album art. No matter if there's an artist or not. What I'm trying to do now is to find the album art for the Twin Snakes and put it with the remaining tracks that don't have it. I don't think it has a function for only album instead of album/artist. Unless it's really fucking hidden.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
It goes by Album in CoverFlow view and art view, if you're sorting by album in the browser. If you have albums that have multiple artists, you need to tag them as Compilations for them to "collapse" into one, I believe. But that just makes sense anyway. I'm not sure I understand the problem, exactly.
Keep in mind that clicking on the Album field header to sort will switch it between Album, Album by Artist, and Album by Year. How ya doing, buddy?
killmoms - Well, don't really.
