recomended mp3 tagging program
I am running Vista 32 bit and noticed my old tag&rename 3.16 won't work.
I'm not dead set on any paticular program, just something that will work well. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Just out of curiosity, have you tried setting the compatibility mode to Windows XP or earlier? That might work.
Just rightclick -> Compatibility tab -> "Run this program in..." and select Windows XP, or 2000, or whatever. Give that a try, maybe. How ya doing, buddy? |
Find an updated version of Tag&Rename and it will work fine under Vista.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() |
I am gonna keep looking , compability mode won't work for tag&rename 3.16...
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
get last version will be working in vista
I was speaking idiomatically. |
I hear EasyTAG has had a Windows version for a while now. It could be a bit easier to get into in some spots but is also very feature complete.

Kid3 - ID3 Tagger
Kid3 uses QT and therefore can run on a wide range of operating systems. Tagging capabilities are very good. I'm still using foobar2000 (through wine) though, waiting for the kid3 gentoo ebuild to become KDE free :-D FELIPE NO |
I'd agree with Kid3 if it weren't giving Audiophile and I a bunch of weird junk in properly tagging the Smash Brothers Brawl rip, though maybe it's an older version we're using, I dunno.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? ![]() ![]() |
I just decided to buck up and buy a dam copy of tag&rename the latest version since it will work on vista. Its what I'm used to using and actualy enjoyed tagging albums with it
