Jade Empire (Special Edition) for PC!!!

!!!COMING FOR PC!!!

You can read up on it here -> Jade Empire (Special Edition) PC <-

So I never played Jade Empire on , but it looked like such an amazing game. It's a Bioware PC game which should give many of you incentive to take notice. I never was able to get into KOTOR, but this game with its original IP and fairly unique gameplay have me itching to pick this one up when it is released. According to the article above, it seems that they are really working this title over to up its quality to PC level. Better textures and better control ooze awesomeness as this game is already a highly recommended sleeper hit(#193 on GameRankings). I'm intrigued as well by the combo/style system which gives this game a RPG/Action feel.

I don't know tons about the game except what I have read and a video review on the Xbox version that was great. So if you've played the Xbox game, weigh in here and let us know what you think about this game for PC.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Jade Empire is everything Fable should have been, really. The special content isn't anything that I messed with though, as I have the limited edition XBOX version, but the game is fun as hell.

I would also highly recommend this to anyone who likes action RPGs. Even though it's Bioware it plays more like Zelda than it does KOTOR, but most of the conversations and the like occur in KOTOR form. It even has an "Open Palm/Closed Fist" system (can we say Light/Dark side lol) similar to KOTOR so you can be good or evil.

Definitely play this.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I knew this would be coming out on PC eventually and was glad to see it was finally announced. Considering I have never even thought of owning an Xbox, this is definitely a good thing.

Ever since the release of this game, I've been wanting to play it something feirce. Anyone have any idea of what the release date is?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
Oh shit.

Gamespot have it as a January 2007 release, surely it couldn't be released this soon? From what I've seen of it though, it is shaping up to be a very good game.

For those interested here's the Gamespot link

GameStop's release date is the same. This was announced quite a while ago -- possibly back in June or July.

Jade Empire is the only other game -- besides Fable -- that I wanted to play, but wouldn't buy an Xbox for. Now I can play them both on the PC, thus negating any reason for owning an original Xbox. Sweet.

I was speaking idiomatically.

I own it on the XBOX, but don't have the LE version of it. Regardless, I might consider buying it for the PC if it has extra content that is worth getting it for...

That said, I never got really far into the game, just an hour or two. Loved what I had played of it, just didn't have time to go back and play more yet. All in all, I am looking forward to seeing what they do with the PC version.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

I played it for about 20 hours, and even though I liked all the characters, conversations, and KOTOR based RPG stuff, it was the action part that I always felt was lacking. The AI on the enemies was that of your average sandwich, and the combat mechanics were so biased that the whole experience got tedious quick.

From what I've read, some of the AI issues will be addressed, but I can't help but wonder how much that can improve on a combat system that amounts to button mash combo, flip dodge, button mash combo, lather, rinse, repeat.

I'm sure I'll get it, but only because I support Bioware, and I traded in my Xbox along with this game, so...

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Finally, I picked this game up as it was released late February. Haven't been able to try it yet due to waiting for a NewEgg RMA on my video card . I will let you all know how awesome the game is!!

I bought it because I don't own an xbox and heard great thing about it from my friend.

I finished it last week for the good ending and I was so amaze by the game and love the main theme to death XD my only complaint his the lack of combo.. every style as a 3-hit combo, one strong attack and a AoE. at first I was really annoying by that, but when you go farther in the game you have so much different style that I did't really care because you can switch style with give more diversity in the gameplay.

But the best thing about this game is the story, god it's been long since i was so impress by a video game story.

the dialogs are really good too with most of the time a lot of possibility of answer. I wanted to restart a game to go the evil way but I don't like it really...I don't really feel like I'm an evil character but just an ass ... I think it's the lower point of the game for me... there's way to be evil without being an asshole...

Anyway I'll probably restart another game soon with another character to see the romance between character that I skipped in my first game

Most amazing jew boots
