La Maquina de Bailar ("Dance Machine")

Possibly the greatest idea for a movie ever, this is the modern-day version of The Wizard.

"Dance Machine" is a movie about a DDR competition. Not only that, but it looks like a quirky and simply awesome movie about a DDR competition. Goddamn the fact that it's in Spanish, because it looks fucking great.

We all know this'll be fansubbed, at the least, but is anybody gonna hope for a real domestic release?

Your thoughts please.

Totally awesome trailer.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

LOL
"You're a son of a bitch."
*turns on tape recorder* "Note for the future: Ask mom DNA proof."

The movie is about a bunch of nostalgic dancing guys.
"In the 70's, if you couldn't dance or knew nothing about martial arts, you were a loser."
"And what happened then?"
"The 'movida' time came, my son. Fuck the 'movida'!"

The 'movida' was a social revolution in Spain when disco music was replaced by electro pop.
Santiago Segura (the guy with beard and curly hair) is the most famous comedy director in Spain. Unfortunately, not many of his movies are exported, so unless you're good at Spanish and Madrid slang, you won't be enjoying it.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Reviving for awesome.

I'm amazed you DDR freaks haven't said a word about this! Get the word out, people!

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.
