Ok I seriously have had it up to here with EVE's damn character selection screen. Can someone like give me some kind of exact example to just have my characters placed properly on it? I don't even want all of that fancy sorted by class stuff. I just want to be able to use the character selection screen. And one more thing is there a way to just use the select screen? Because I really don't want to use the whole EVE screenpack I want mine to be completely custom - Jin

Just make sure you have 12 of the -/ inbetween 26 characters. If you have 26 characters per 12 -/ it will fit in perfectly.

I need a little bit of help with Arcade mode now. My game has been running fine, almost perfect but all of a sudden my arcade mode started acting up. The only things I could fight in Arcade were the Car, Xmix, Bonus and Armor. All of the bonus stage guys were the only things I could fight, and after I beat one of them, Arcade ended. From there I took out all 4 of them and now when i start Arcade and select a character, It closes and gives me an error.
"Assert failure in p-make.c line 1907" If i dont have the 4 bonus in my select file, it errors, If I do have them, I can only fight them and nothing else. How can I fix this?

The graphic files you see in FF are referenced by the coding for the EVE screenpack. The way I see it, you can jot down how the categories are arranged when the game runs, then switch the graphic files around so that they're in alphabetical order. Once that's done, rearrange the characters in your select.def file to match, and voila! ^^

what going on people im how do you say um almost not a new be to mugen anymore, ive bin messing around with it for a min now. I have also bin on other forums but people say this is the number one( so this is the last forum i will ever join) First of all let me just say that im done with trying to find Nightmare broly and holy ken lol. Its just a lost cause man, people send you to sites but they are closed, and then( my personal favorite) the guy that has them and just wont give them to you, oh well. At least i have the 2 evil bastards ken and ryu and regular broly and THOR of course. i just have 2 questions.....#1 does anybody know were i can find Spawn or justice from guilty gear?
#2 a buddy of mine has Soldier's version of MUGEN.....how can i get it? i think its really cool the life bars and everthing.

hey soldier a freind of mine told me about your version of mugen, I saw it and it was really cool looking with the life bars and everything, the quality is realy great. I have bin on many forums just basically trying to find Nightmare brolly and Holl ken for like a year now. I just gave up so dont worry......wont be asking for them anymore. here is something else... i was testing out my new characters, nude cammy and nude ruge and some other in a fight ......so i picked nude psyhlock and when i picked her with rogu the name vampirepshylock came up and she had like a version of the instant hell death like akuma is this some secret character or im i just breathing in to many mef fumes or something?

If I don't see some improvement, I'm closing the thread. I see people like me asking for help and not getting it because another idiot joins in hoping to get more characters.

lol i make a back up copy everytime i put a new stage or char in cuz if you make one mistake it fuks up. Just cut and paste them carefully and everything should be fine.

ow hey i got a question how i change the image of the char when fighting cuz i have a subzero and his image is HUGE! and makes the lifebar see crappy how can i change that?

go into the data folder and replace the fight def and fight sff also the fight snd
with you'r lifebar files......yeah i almost forgot also but you'r lifebar fonts in the fonts folder :biggrin:

dragon it has to do with you music cause if it still sounds all scratchy or skips alot then you have to go to your control panel.
then go to sound,speech,audio devices
then sound and audio
then go to speaker settings and click advanced
go to performance then turn the hardware all the way down to none or zero.

this should stop the random crashing but if it doesnt then it might be a character problem and you will have to test all your characters till you find the one it crashes on

did you ever stop to think and say "you know what,this person is obviously new here let me show him or her the ropes just let them know how it runs" you could have said all of that without all that negativity, im thinking there are grown men and women in here, i totaly get that cats come in here fooling around just to do it but that was not my intension. It was not until early in the morning that i saw the thread, but i will be the bigger person and say that if i affended you i apologize, i ment know harm. To the other person (not saying any names)who sent me the cool e-mail, you know who you are, *thanks man your cool in my book* peace........:biggrin:

Srry to keep bugging you guys but lol how do you make the chars bigger, cuz now i have Syous (D&D SOM Capcom) but he is soo tiny. Ive read somewhere that you can do it.

Yeah but get this. If you are going to request/ask/beg/whatever something do it right and please if you or anyone has atleast a small bit of your time to be more intellectually inclined as a corpse then do it and sound formal instead of...."omgah kan sum1 hlep me wit diz char it b frezin n mugen b crashin". ok.... easiest way, edit him in FF.... under the cns file... edit the x and y, and heights... other way, just straight edit the CNS file...

I dont even know who the hell you are or who you are refering too with all that "he b stuff, but if you feel the need to add your two cents then by all means, do as your heart desires, i here you man. i was trying to put a "character into my roster, when i did all of that(check the spelling and everything) i started up my mugen and the character i put into it was showing but when it came time to use him, mugen shuts:1zhelp: down but when i dont choose the character everything plays just fine. Can anyone tell me why this happens?
