I checked off Basement. That's where my room is, and where there's the least amount of people traffic in my house. I'm the only person in my family who's even remotley into video games, and i'm looked down upon for it. I always feel kinda weird when i'm playing and someone's in the room with me. If no one's home though, i'll move whatever i'm playing up to the TV room (den i guess) and play there.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I don't really care if people are around, but prefer if I was home alone. Just as long as I say "Ah shit, gotta study for my final exams, then I'm spotted playing games with no shame, then parents will say something".
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. ![]() - What we all do best -

I game in my bedroom. I get peace and quiet that way.
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? ![]() |
I game in my den and bedroom most of the time....albeit video games, board games, card games, whatever.....most convenient places to play games whether by myself or with some friends!!
I was speaking idiomatically.

"The game room" is my main gaming area. It consists primarily of a Gxtv on a table flanked by a DC, PS2, and GC on milk crates with butterfly chairs, a side table, and a fan.
PC stuff, ROMs, and portables however, I usually play in bed. I'll abstain from posting shots right now as both areas are pits of despair at the moment. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? DAMN good coffee!

But it is the Sony Grand WEGA SXRD. I got quite a deal on it and was able to pick it up for $3,100. FELIPE NO |
Do you have a sound system with it? Or just headphones.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? ![]() - What we all do best - |
Unfortunately, now that the room above me is occupied again I don't get to make good use of the sound system very often anymore. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
In the living room of my own place. It's much more entertaining now than in my old cramped room back home.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I play my games in the room that used to call my bedroom. Now its more or less a den or entertainment room. A little cramped at times but its the perfect place for me to game and watch my movies.
To bad for me, I need to afford a better car first. How ya doing, buddy? |
In my room with a bed. The bed is used to sit on when playing video games! A WHOLE NEW USE! TAKE THAT, CHAIR. I'd hook my crap up to the lounge room, but no. I'm quite happy in my room with a bed chair, complete with 48cm mono TV with one (broken) AV input, hooked up to a (broken) stereo. Oh wai-
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
In my dorm when I'm on campus (nurrr), and on the few occasions on which I'm home I either game on my laptop in my room or on ye hugebox in the living room.
Oh, and trees are good for handhelds. I was speaking idiomatically. |
There is where my gaming takes place:
![]() Two Klipsch satellite speakers and one sub, and two cheap aiwa stereo speakers, all going into the stereo. If I want to use another system, I just change out the red and white cables, and presto! I found the stereo at the local Good Will for $14. It's pretty good, actually. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
I play my games in the den downstairs. There's quite a bit of room so I can play without feeling too cramped. Plus, the den is where the biggest TV in the house in located.

My PC is right by my bed, so that's where most of my gaming takes place. The kitchen/lounge area of my apartment has a TV as well, so sometimes I hook up my GC to that, or to the TV out in the lobby of my dorm.
Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() ![]() |
![]() The room is always half dark, and the only source of light is a lamp by my bed. You can't see the cables/wires around the PS2 when it's like this. This picture really doesn't do it justice, either. The figurines are of Emma and Fortune, and the cat is from Shikigami no Shiro II whihc came free with the Gamecube game. The speakers I picked up seperate to the subwoofer, and I soldered RCA plugs into the back of them. I plan on doing the same with some newer Sony speakers I've picked up as well, but I'm undecided. As for the whole setup, it's quite simple. The AV cables from the PS2 are into the amp, and if I decide to change consoles, I just push the left mini speaker back and plug them into the side of the tv. Usually I don't bother with the subwoofer and speakers for anything other than the PS2, simply because I can't be bothered changing cables all the time. Good thing this tv has a couple of sets of AV cables on the back, so regardless which console I'm going to use, I don't need to worry about where the PS2's going. It's always connected. Edit: Wow really. This entertainment unit is much bigger than what the picture tells. Most amazing jew boots |
Here's a journal entry where there is a picture of my basement where I game in addition to my games (an added bonus.)
![]() http://www.gamingforce.com/forums/jo...&day=6-12-2006 Btw elixer, hot set up. Does your audio system have a sub? This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
Hydelloon, you might as well post that TV pic here as well.

Elixir: I see a pop'n controller.
I play in the family living room, which sometimes gets looks of disdain from family members who don't appreciate my music games. I play on a medium-sized TV, sitting on the floor. I'll take a picture of it later and show. Overall it's comfortable enough. I was speaking idiomatically. ![]() |
The mini speakers each side of the tv are tinny as hell. Real scratchy sometimes. I don't really use them that much unless I have a noticable amount of bass. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
My room for when I'm playing a single player game and the den for when I play against my brothers/sisters/nephew.

Owning ones own home can be a blessing...or a curse.
I have made my livingroom into my gameroom...however, it tends to clutter the house. Also, it has not made me very popular with the ladies. Every woman I have dated recently thinks my gameroom should be somewhere else in the house... ![]() What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? ![]() Fight Like A Robot! |
DAMN ROBOTRON!
Where is the supernintendo ;_; Psh Gaming > Women. Well, not really. Fortunately, I don't have to deal with such complaining because my girlfriend is a gamer herself. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Robotron, are those modded Hori Real Arcade Pro sticks I see there?
Totally requesting pictures of your PS2 collection. Also, enjoy your rating of 5. Most amazing jew boots |
