Trivial Pursuit...should I start it up again?

Since my journal is about as popular as voting for a third party in the presidential election, I'll ask with this thread whether I should restart the Trivial Pursuit thread I had begun before the latest crash.

Pros
Complete time waster
Lots of fun
Can be morphed into a competition of sorts (daily, weekly, monthly recognition for most points?)
Even if you're an idiot, there's still a good chance you can have fun

Cons
Spamtastic (which could also be a pro)
Not easy to moderate on days when I really don't feel up to it
Similarly, can die really quick if no one pays attention to when it resumes
I've been told the mods/admins might shoot it down

Of course, the irony is that this thread may not get seen much either, being in The Place of Laughs and Games.

How ya doing, buddy?

I remember participating in it before the crash. As somewhat of a trivia junkie, I'd definitely like to see it start up again.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I vote yes. I don't remember it being here before, but it sounds like fun.

Can you give a run down of how it works/worked? I don't really remember it at all.

I was speaking idiomatically.

Using Trivial Pursuit Volume 6, I ask a question from whatever category the person to guess the previous question correctly wants (for the first question, I pick the category at random). The rules I hope people accomodate is that they don't spam their answers (wait for someone else to guess first) and don't edit their answers (which we can see depending on how quickly they're edited).

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

Sounds like a cool idea. I support this.
I'm also shocked that I missed this before.

I remember this from before. It seemed pretty cool, but I never really participated that much in it. I'd like to see it come back though, especially if you keep some kind of tally or something of who has what points and such.

If I get 10 people on board, I'll do it.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Is there only going to be a set number of participants allowed? Or can other people jump in? Would this operate somewhat similar to how those guess-the-image games work?
Sorry for all the questions.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I don't care how many people play, I just don't want to be posing questions and not having people answer for 10+ minutes. That's why I want to get a good amount of interest (10+ people) before I get it going again.

It's just me asking the questions and everyone else answers them.

Even before, I think there were fewer than 10 people participating although my memory's fuzzy on this one. In any case, it's a fun test of google skills and knowledge. Looking forwards to a good dose of history trivia.

Sure, I'll join. Can't promise an answer within 10 minutes, but I'm on enough to be around. Didn't notice it before the crash though. Google is my friend.
