I'm not really sure what kind of Tetris this is. There are no points, simply levels. In any case, this is freakin' insane.

Yeah, I've always wanted to find that version of Tetris so I could give that a go. I think I'm pretty good at it, but that still could be a little too intense.

Doesn't it seem like it is actually given some more leverage after the block as touch the bottom then normal tetras? Although I guess you have to, since the falling part is already so fast that its difficult to catch it by eyes. >.>

I don't think it's falling at that speed on its own. I think once the piece appears, he's tapping down on the controller to make it drop instrantly, which would explain why he seems to have a bit more time on some pieces.

Other than that, I guess it's sort of cool. The moves he's making are obvious, but I guess he just drilled so much Tetris into his mind that he can do it at superhuman speed. And like I said, I think there's a certain illusion of speed that he's able to control.

Otherwise ive never really seen this kind of tetris and i have to say its pretty freaking cool.

I haven't really ever seen this version of Tetris...I think I'll stick with my Game Boy and the Original. I get the nifty music too.

I gotta say though, If I ever had to face this person in tetris, I'd bail.

I remember seeing this dude on ebaumsworld. Dude is amazing. I can't even keep up with level 10, let alone level 800. >_<

It's phenomenally ridiculous. But yeah, that sliding helps a lot. On some tetris clones, you can actually touch bottom and keep the piece alive by rotating. I don't know what limits this version has; nevetheless, it's fast.

It needs the sliding at that speed though or it'd be impossible to reach the corners. Kinda what it gets like when you reach level 20-21 on the Game Boy version (think my record was 211 lines or about).

I've never seen this version of Tetris, but the sliding sure seems to help. Either way, he could verily kick my ass at the game, but I wouldn't mind trying my hand at that version.

I've seen some pretty fast players but that was insane by far, anyone who gets that good at tetrise must sit in front of their computer 20\7 playing nothing but tetris that's sad

I remember seeing this video before and I still think that stuff he does in tetris is crazy. Oh yeah I was wondering about the Tetris game he was playing as well so I looked it up. Apparently there was a sequel already released on the xbox360 in Japan. Not too sure on the status for a US version.
