I don't listen to the radio (or any webradio) much at all, if any. I don't really watch television for music exposure. However, I have been exposed to dubstep through some groups, like Infected Mushroom's latest album has a dubstep track or two.
From the tracks listed here that I listened to I really enjoyed Internet Friends, a lot of the "lyrics" caught me off guard and were pretty funny. A lot of the elements of this genre remind me of VGM in a way, some of the wacky stuff anyway. I think I would enjoy this style more as part of a greater whole. I think too much of just this would be overbearing for me. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
