I have heard many people complain (mostly older guys who confide in me thier inability to grow said beard) that they couldn't stand the itching while growing the beard. I honestly can't remember if that ever happened to me (I have atrocious memory). Someone once told me the big beard works for me cause I'm a big guy. Well, it doesn't really matter to me one way or the other. I just wish I could grow a better stache or something.

I'm new here and probably nobody gives two shits what I say, but I'm gonna say it anyway-- I very strongly approve of your beard, bro!
I've had a goatee going for about a year, myself (I trim it occasionally with about the 4th setting from the shortest on an electric trimmer) but I'm contemplating going full-on lumberjack full beard. This goes with my nice long heavy metal hair... if I had short hair the beard would just be weird as hell on me I think.
I have no frame of reference on whether or not this helps the lady situation (unless my ex gf counts, and I sure hope that isn't the case)... people have been telling me it's probably bogging me down, but you know what? I don't really care.
