Most lcds, you can expect a dead pixel here and there... but I haven't seen any on my DS. On the PSP it's easy to see when the screen goes black, but generally it's always a white background so I haven't noticed anything... where do you guys usually notice the dead pixels? Maybe I just don't have any... either way, one or two won't bug me too much.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
You can hold out for a pink one, then that can be super girly. This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
A dead pixel here and there may be unacceptable to you, but to some people that's a bit anal. If the guys working at the store don't really care, they just think you're nuts. I'm all for having a perfect DS, I knew about pixel problems for the PSP, and the one I got had 2, but you only see it when it's a loading black screen, otherwise it's fine. LCDs will always have dead pixels, and you can keep exchanging it if you want. I just don't think it's worth that much stress and aggravation. Pixels can die, just like how lights burn out. It's really hard to get anything that's completely flawless. It might be easier to just accept it instead of always trying to figure out why you have a dead pixel.

Aww, they still don't have a blue... I actually don't mind white, it looks like a little mac device. I just hope it doesn't eventually get dirty. Funny how popular Animal Crossing is... except no one I know has it. Brain age is definitely a fun little puzzle game to take with you anywhere. Meanwhile I'm actually playing FFIV on the DS

The DS was always Nintendo's saviour... Gamecube wasn't doing so great, if it wasn't for their portable, they'd be in a bit of trouble.
