Looks promising, but it's hard to tell, being so rough around the edges. This is one I'd have to see in mostly complete form to draw any conclusions. It is a terrible shame that they've had to resort to putting the thing on rails. :\
Jam it back in, in the dark. ![]() |
Like a racing game, essentially. You hold the stick horizontally, and turn it left and right to steer Sonic. You rotate the thing forwards and back to speed up or brake as needed, and the front button is jump.
Racing game... yeah. :\ That's why my first impressions weren't so good, despite how the gameplay footage looks. Sonic games aren't glorified racers. Well, Sonic Advance 2 was, but it's generally agreed that wasn't a high point of the series, either. There's nowhere I can't reach. ![]() |
Any chance you can mute the in-game music?
As for the reviews, considering how genuinely bad all of Sega's previous attempts at this have been, you can hardly blame people for expecting to hate this one as well. That said, has anybody who's not and out-and-out Sonic fanboy weighed in, yet? I'm curious to hear from someone who wasn't going to buy this whether it sucked or not. Most amazing jew boots ![]() |
