Anyway, he might want to do it because media connect didn't work for him, just like it didn't work for me. The damn thing kept getting caught up on the authorizing step and couldn't see my 360. Strange but retarded. :__;

Also yes, the thing's music device support is shitty, and as far as I know, there is no way to grab the music directly from the device and plop it on the hard drive.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

It recognizes CD-Rs burned as audio CDs, not data CDs filled with MP3s. =\

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Thanks El for the expanded solution.

However, mine still does not function properly. I am not sure why, but my error happens between steps 4 and 5. When I try to enable folder sharing, it tells me that it can not do such a thing and that any and all details will be put into the Event Viewer.

Of course, checking that viewer shows that Media Connect did not log any errors, so that's just a kick in the balls.

It's ok though, russ and I spent a bit of time on it and we couldn't figure it out either.

I will try the solutions you have provided when I get home from work tonight, or possibly tomorrow when I have a bit more time.
