I get this stupid problem sometimes.
I assume you are running XP, so hold down the CTRL key and move the mouse wheel down 1 click to make text smaller and up to make it larger. Move the wheel as much as you want (while pressing CTRL) till the text appears how you normally view it. Jam it back in, in the dark.
