I know it is discontinued but you should be able to find it for sale somewhere.

I've actually got issues with my MX700 where it'll stop tracking for a little bit or it'll think the left mouse button is stuck down (a pretty big problem in FPS games). Only reason I use it is because the desks I've had at school recently really aren't made for computers and my older MS mouse didn't have a cable that was comfortable to use.

I've also got issues with the wireless keyboard losing reception randomly when it has a clear shot of the base station and is less than three feet away, but that's a different thread.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Yeah, I've gotten used to having to shake my mouse for five seconds to wake my computer up now, but it wasn't my problem in games. I've always maintained a clear line of sight, though I've found at certain distances it just wigs out on me. Unfortunately, the distance seems to be pretty random and inconsistent (though 99% of my problems tend to be while in games), so I just deal with a slightly less comfortable position for mousing while using my wired mouse in games.

There's nowhere I can't reach.
