Preordered my copy today. I wasn't a huge fan of PSO but for minor reasons - camera angle issues, wanting slightly more developed combat system. I'm thinking this will be a nice change of things compared to WoW or FFXI.

The one thing I also really like is the ability to change your class which is good for indecisive people like me.

The official confirmed release date is set for October 24th. Unfortunately right around the same time .hack//GU and FFXII will be coming out making it an expensive month for people who like RPG's.

And last thing that I noticed on a really positive note, European Servers and American Servers will be linked.

but it doesn't give you all the options.

There's a character creation app floating around on the web (in format of .torrent) though supposedly it's illegal (god knows why). It includes more options than in that URL including Cast creation. However, I noticed that there is actually a little bit less clothing options in the app.
