That is, if you don't wish to make some existing DreamHost customers happy with referrals  I think running bittorrent trackers are somewhat computationally intensive, and may be explicitly disallowed in their Terms of Service. DreamHost offers you tons of space and bandwidth for a very low price. But the servers housing its mysql databases are not known for their speed. To be honest, there's nothing much you can do about this. Can't have your cake and eat it too.  Jam it back in, in the dark.
