That's the extent of my positive movie game experiences. I loved many of the Star Wars games (Rebel Assault) but those almost require a category all to themselves. The only other movie games that I can remember playing are Friday the 13th, Gremlins II, and Predator (all NES) and I don't have any positive memories of them.
I personally liked the SNES Aladdin more though they were both excellent.

Star Wars definitely has way too many games to be included here. Rebel Assault was uber-awesome though.

I remember that part in the movie it was so great. ^____^
I remember this game pretty well too, as the Game Gear was my first system I must have beaten this game +10 times. It was great that it could be beaten in like an hour.

Other than the obvious ones, the Lord of the Rings beat-em ups by EA (Two Towers and ROTK) were pretty good.

As for a very obscure title, Home Alone on game gear. The game looks like dirt, but actually had some good game play for its time (though has aged horribly imo). You could plan traps and make weapons, which was really cool to me at the time.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Well the main reason is probably because I owned an SNES and only played the Genesis one on emulators. It was just more colorful and I loved the Genie stage.
