I'm really digging this week -- no surprise, since piano is so prominently featured.
(3 points) BATEN KAITOS II The First Wings and the Heirs of God Original Soundtrack - Deep Red Pastures: This is Sakuraba? Color me impressed. Dead-on copycatting of the Sims formula, with tremendous results. (2 points) Shiori Fujisaki Piano Collection - Overture of Love: Piano. Again. Doesn't go too many places, but the initial foundation it builds is plenty solid. (1 point) TEKKEN TAG Tournament Direct Audio (US) - Ogre: Nice job of picking out the best track from an otherwise mediocre soundtrack. Wonky techno bass somehow agrees well enough with the scattershot strings and intermittent piano work. Just Missed A Point: Kirby Air Ride (Game Rip) - SKY SANDS I'll Take It Without Vocals, Please, The Opening's That Good: Farland Symphony Encore (PC Game Rip) - Wing My Way -Short Version- Catchy 16-Bit Era Goodness: Puggsy (Sega Genesis Game Rip) - Star Fall Lake - 8th Stage Has Its Moments: Ibara REMIX TRACKS - Rose Garden The Worst Of The Week And It's Not Even Too Bad: Dragon Quest Heroes Rocket Slime (Game Rip) - Tank Battle Jam it back in, in the dark.
