[Anime] Air Gear: THE GRINDING

This is an interesting series. Can't wait for the soundtrack its great. Haven't read the manga so I don't know how much it diverges. Just wish the episodes were released a bit faster.

Personally, I don't like reading scanlations. I much prefer having the book in my own hands when I read. Air Gear is a good anime but I will wait for the English release of the manga before I start reading it.

Episode 8 was as usual quite funny. Ikki and the gang are close to being held back a year in school and they help their teacher Ton-chan with some of her past problems. No battles this episode but some good character development for Ton-chan.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

This episode is made of lol, weird, and WTF!!! A very funny episode as usual. Mostly a battle between the Bull team and Agito the Shark. And no, I don't want to see man juice either or Ikki taking a shit.

Yeah, Simca is awesome. Much better than Ringo, but we know in the end Ikki will end up with Ringo.

That new fansub group sucks. I hate that big block raw they use and the subs go by so fast you have to pause the show just to read them all.

What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now?

This is a series that makes me laugh out loud every episode. For that I will continue to watch it.

Episode 11 and 12 were great and got things back on track. Ikki finishes forming his team, names it, and enters his first battle. I especially liked Croissant Mask helping out when the team was on the verge of losing. It's funny how Agito/Akito's attitude changes just by switching his eyepatch. Yup, Akito is incredibly gay(not that theres anything wrong with that).

This series is really funny. I still laugh out loud each episode. 13 wasn't bad, looks like the story is about to pick up.

Btw, anyone have any info on the soundtrack release date?

I skimmed through them now though, and sadly it seems to be missing the one song I wanted the most. =/
It's the music that plays some times when Ikki does something special, like when he gets past Bucha in the narrow corridor, or when he started winning againt Rika, and when he was riding Agito's fangs, and the Wing's Road appeared again.

That's the one I wanted the most, but there are some other nice songs on the OST.

I know what you mean. That one track is sorely missing. Fortunately, the rest of the soundtrack holds up and features many of my favorite tunes from the show.

Other than the jarringly bad animation segements that looked like a 3yr old drew them, this was a good series. Hope there's more although I heard this show got horrible ratings in Japan.
