Condemned.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
You have a first-person view-point and you mostly kill people. I think it's pretty close to a First-Person Shooter. Nub.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I'm gonna play the pussy and bow down from my previous comments and say that the term has somewhat become vague. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Um....Zeal?
I'm terribly intrigued by the '3' in your sig, and by the date, also. Could it be Halo 3's unveiling. Tell me more. I was speaking idiomatically. |
Fuck! The servers crashed! Nothing can be downloaded!
What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |
I'm betting a hundred bucks that the Forerunners are linked to humans. If it's true, I can't wait to see the Prophets reactions in Surround. O_o
FELIPE NO |
Play the first two games and read THE FALL OF REACH.
By the way, for those who didn't know anything about the story of the third game; the Covenants have wiped out the main human defenses on earth and are digging in the deserts of Africa. There, they have found something created by the Forerunners. Most amazing jew boots |
Hands down SMGs with Spike gun. Best combination.

It was confirmed. Up until now, Bungie made it believed that Halo 3 didn't exist or wouldn't confirm it.
How ya doing, buddy? |
I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
@DEVO: I knew it was gonna be made, but after all the time Bungie put in the Halo games (they started working on 2 when the first one came out), I wasn't surprised if they would've announced something else. It just confirmed it.
@Evergreen: To enjoy the whole mythology, yes, you need to read, AT LEAST The Fall of Reach which is about the birth of the Spartan project, which is an awesome story. I was speaking idiomatically. |
@Evergreem: Don't worry, it's something. It tells the story of Master Chief or John. How he was one of the few hundred kids recruited to take part in the Spartan project. The trained and pump these kids full of products to enhance their minds, body and bone durability. They were around 200 when they started and ended up with 20/30. The rest died during treatments, training or are disabled and disfigured for life. It's really good, I can't stress it enough. It took more than 20 years to complete the training and 'building' of the Spartan soldiers. What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? |

Long story short; the humans fight a war that may be lost against the Convenants. They have a back up plan, Project Spartan. They chose around 200 childrens (around 9) based on their physical and mental capabilities. The final test is for them to watch a coin being thrown in the air and know on which side it'll fall. They need to be 100% sure since they are looking for kids with highly developped senses. Good instincts.
During the following years they are put through training of regular, adult soldiers. Some of them die. They are then injected with products to make them more resistant. One of those treatments change their bones which makes them unbreakable. More of them die from the treatments while others gained deformed bodies and are transferred to operational positions in the army. John (Master Chief) nearly died during that period. Later on, they try on the first Mjolnir armor that his produced. To wear a Mjolnir armor, you need to have the training and the treatments that the Spartan Soldiers received. A normal soldier tried one of the suits near the final stage of preparation for the training, which resulted in horrible results for him. The suit is connected to your head, to your impulses and instincts. So if you think about moving your arm, your arm will automaticaly move. And since that soldier didn't have the proper training and treatments, he broke nearly all the bones in his body and died. Years later, after the second and final Mjolnir armor was created, the final step in the Spartan Projects arrived. After that, the Convenants found Reach, the military planet for the human defenses and the residence for the Spartan Projects. They wiped out all the humans of Reach and are digging in the planets ground, looking for something (which may have been what you saw in the HALO 3 trailer). One Spartan is left with Dr. Catherine, the creator of the Spartan Project and the basis for Master Chief's AI, Cortana. They evacuated in a spaceship while Master Chief went on with Captain Keys to escape the Convenants attack and stumbled upon the HALO construct. Maybe I missed some details, but that's about it. There's nowhere I can't reach. |
Exactly, the fact that Master Chief is the last, or one of the last of it's kind, a Soldier capable of withstanding a direct attack from Convenants makes it interesting since they aren't indestructible. This is the best Earth has to offer. And judged by Halo 3's story, the human race is close to being wiped out.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
And they didn't focus on it because Master Chief and the rest of the military don't know that there is still one Spartan left, Linda who escaped, wounded, with Dr. Catherine. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
Actually, one of the main time-consuming thing that put a stick in the wheel of Halo 2's production was the 'fake demo' that they did for the E3 before Halo 2's release.
So, they just did a quick trailer so that they may concentrate their ideas and efforts on the game itself. So, I'm not worried, whenever a game is complete they do a 'Post-Mortem' document where they explain what went wrong in this production and what could be done to prevent that next time. I was speaking idiomatically. |
It's the one that was played in front of various groups during E3 '04. How ya doing, buddy? |
Oh, I was asking cause you wrote 'trailer' instead of 'demo'.
Maybe swing by GameVideos.com, maybe it's on there. FELIPE NO |
I'm pretty sure the demo would've been the last two levels that were cut out of the game.
What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Chief: "...you're on." Yup! That's the one. Most amazing jew boots |
