And I read the spoilers to add in spoiler tags. .__.

Please use them in the future unless the topic is clearly marked that spoilers exist within. Thanks!

Jam it back in, in the dark.

I just got to the beginning of Chapter 6 and damn Tri-ace, I love your random plot twists. I think this tops the one from Star Ocean 3.

Spoiler:

When the game first started I always wondered what lezard was doing 200 years in the past. He didn't seem like a bad person at all either. After the fight between Hrist and your party that occured during chapter 4 I thought maybe Lezard vanished because he was blown into the future or something, and thats when he turned crazy in stuff. Boy was I wrong.

When he came back to assist you with the battle against Odin my thoughts completed changed. He's the same old Lezard as before. And meeting the future Lenneth at the beginning of chapter 6 confirms a ton of things. The game is also a sequel! Who would've thought a game that took place hundreds of years before the first would still manage to be a sequel? =p This also makes sense because of Lezard's words at the very end of the first game (good ending that is)

In the end this just makes Lezard more of a badass. He goes into the past through Dipan and plays everyone and changes the future in the process. It also makes sense now why Brahms had Silmeria in the first game since he was supposed to rescue here at the point Lezard screwed everything up.

Now I still haven't beat the game yet. I saved and quit after Lenneth joined my party. I figured I would save the fun for tomorrow. I mean how often do you get 2 valkyries and the lord of the undead on your team? It does please me as a valkyrie profile fan that the story turned out this way. I still wonder if the game explains whats up with Arngrim though. Or if it leaves it up to the player to figure it out. Don't spoil it for me if it explains more before the end. :3

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Hydras drop the item in the Crawsus Forest Ruins.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

That skill that absorbs the first 100 damage seems perfect but I cant get it yet.
It's not always a negative effect for your group. You have to look at the effects to determine it yourself. Anyway, here is how it works. Sealstones placed on a Dais effect alll the enemies within the area. So if it says Area Effect: Fire damage 150% Ice damage 1/2 that means all the enemies' fire attacks do more damage while thier ice damage is halfed. If you carry the sealstone then you gain these effects. What you wanna do is put negative effects on the dais to make your battles easier. Like switching the fire with the ice damage 150% fire damage down 1/2 in an area where enemies only cast fire spells will give you a big advantage.

Most of the time stat boosters start on the Dais and usually you wanna keep these in your parties hand, or at least away from the Dais so the enemy can't get the effects. Placing negative effects on the Dais will also make your battles and boss fights much easier. If an enemy carries a sealstone it only effects that group of enemies. By defeating it you can take it yourself.

Shells are useful for neutralizing the effects of a sealstone. Like sometimes there would be sealstones that give enemies great boosts but screw your party over. Like Attack 200% but cannot access battle menu or heal. The negatives don't really effect the enemies but they could make battles worse for you. These are best dropped on a shell to deactivate it so the negatives don't effect your party anymore.

The springs can be used to grab sealstones you purchased with magic gems. You'll want to buy ones like Experience X2 and attack 120% so you can pull them out at any dungeon. Just keep in mind that the gems are kinda hard to build up early in the game, so spend them wisely.

As for skills, learn training as soon as you can. It makes leveling up so much quicker!

I was speaking idiomatically.
