Stationery is weirdly addictive. My handwriting is pretty bad, but that doesn't stop me from buying fountain pens and cute notepads and other things that will spend most of their life sitting on my desk. I think I've spent more on Jetpens than on newegg or Amazon recently.
Also, for some reason, every single time I go into a Home Depot or Harbor Freight, I wind up buying the one thing I need and three or for random tools that sit in my box forever. I blame the weird plastic fume smell that hardware stores always seem to have. It's probably about as bad for your brain as sniffing glue. Jam it back in, in the dark. |
