This year's example of slacking was that we didnt put up any decorations at all. Putting up a tree means cleaning out an area to put the tree, which didnt happen, plus we're not exactly in the best financial situation, so we would have been putting up a tree to have a grand total of like, 5 presents underneath it.
I think the lack of decorations this year was also brought on by last year's laziness... my sisters were so enthusiastic about a tree... they wanted a tree, they NEEDED a tree. So they did a slipshod job of cleaning the area, put up the tree, and left it there. Christmas, New Years, Valentines Day, EASTER came and went, and they were too lazy to take down what they NEEDED to put up. It was up until the end of March. I was appalled when I came home for Spring Break and it was still up.
So this year, while not as festive, was much simpler.
Jam it back in, in the dark.
