I haven't used Hotmail for a while, but from what I can gather, it's bottom tier among the big three. Yahoo and Gmail are both fine. Gmail has a different way of doing some ways, so it might be strange at first. Personally, I prefer Gmail. I can send you an invite if needed.

I love POP email, because then I can use Thunderbird. It's just so much more responsive and easy to manipulate than webmail. The only obvious downside is not being able to access it from anywhere. But I have VNC running on my PC, so in a way, I can.
There's nowhere I can't reach.
