Firefox plugin for download managing?
I figured, hey, someone had to have done it.
Really all I need is the ability to queue http downloads so I don't have to wait and keep clicking, one by one. I used DAP a long time ago, but then you have to dodge ads and such, so it's a bit of a pain. Anyone know of any kind of plugin that allows you to manage/queue downloads? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Not directly, but FlashGot can interface with download managers like LeechGet and many others, which might not be that useful for you but I tried.

I use DownloadThemAll! for this purpose. While it doesn’t have the exact same functionality as stand-alone download managers, it does enable you to define filters for the automatic queue of files directly linked on web pages. For example, one could set AutoDownloadThemAll to automatically add any files with the .mp3 or .ogg extension and then download them to a directory of your choosing. If the site has many links that require going into a separate download page, then you can always just queue the individual links, which will reduce the strain on your connection when going back and forth between pages. I have found this to be a lot more efficient than downloading them individually.
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |

Why don't you try Free Download Manager or FlashGet, since they are free.
