Astro Boy: Omega Factor (Game Rip) - Marine Express (Stage 5) Decent if not spectacular SNES-style stuff.

Beatmania IIDX 10th Style Original Sountrack - Let's Run -Post Production Mitsuto Suzuki Mix- Really more a collection of annoying vocal samples than a song.

H.A.T.E. (Amstrad CPC Game Rip) - Title Pretty nice chiptune stylings, though I the C64-style trills bug me as they have and ever shall.

Lunar Knights (Game Rip) - Dumas Fairly bleh as far as dark action songs go.

Music From SSX Blur - A51 Nicely weaves a variety of contemporary sounds into a very enjoyable whole, more than the sum of its parts.

POWER DoLLS 1 Soundtrack Resonance - SPANK MISSION Really interesting mesh of styles, synths, etc. Loses focus a bit but still nifty.

Sacred Night Story - Anearth Fantasy Stories - The BEYOND Has a very nice sound to it, but ultimately promises a lot more than it delivers by remaining low-key.

www dot nurykabe dot com - Baluchons Totally aimless and tuneless acoustic noodling, like a bad jam session. Blech.

I've heard some Junkie XL stuff before, but nothing this good. "A51" is absolutely wonderful and I hope it takes the gold. Having said that, the competition's not too shabby. The ESTi track is elegant in its slick, bubbly style; the Astro Boy track is great fun from start to finish; and "The BEYOND" has a sweet old-school sound with awesome oboe/clarinet samples. Every track had something to offer this week. Fantastic stuff (SotW is on a roll)!
