Any good day planner programs?
Im looking to find a program that will let me schedule daily reminders for each day of the month/year that works good. I've never used one so I'm not sure which ones are good, thank you.
Jam it back in, in the dark. |
Microsoft Outlook does this pretty well, although I stopped using mine when I got a palm pilot. I like that a lot better because it's with me wherever I am. When you use a computer program, keep in mind that you'll only get your reminders when you're sitting at the computer.
There's nowhere I can't reach. |
I found active desktop calendar, seems to work good, any other suggestions?
This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it. |
I don't mean to sound like a douchebag, but the best thing to accomplish this still is a piece of paper or a pocket diary/calendar. Most cell phones have reminders, as well. Using a computer to keep track of your daily schedule always felt pointless to me.

with google calendar, you can set it to do alerts to your mobile phone

I would have to second using Google Calendar. It is incredibly easy to use, has all the features I've ever needed and no fluff, and you can get it anywhere you go, unlike if you forget your paper/pen planner or just save a file on your home computer.

You could also use Rainlendar, which is small (memory-wise and interface-wise), always displays the date in the taskbar, and is full of skinnable goodness. You can set alarms and reminders, and it can also import iCal calendars, I think.
