Believe it or not, you have a lot more people following your art than you think. Are you going to put all the art from your journal in here as well?

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Kazyl: Snap! Foiled again! >w<

Lady Miyomi: Actually, I was thinking about producing something original to post here, so you guys will be seeing some new arts.

Here is something that I am working on.. it is somewhat of a pinup. Its base on the GFFchan, as you can see, I rework the head halfway into coloring, I am still thinking what I should do with that thing on her head. lol

I've always liked your drawings and you color them so well! Have you always had this talent?

I think the answer is clearly no.

This is one of my earliest drawing that I just found, which is done about 13 years ago. I have came a long way, and most of those time I was stumbling until the last couple of years when I start studying art in a structural way.

I like how just as I tried to upload this image my host die, and it came back just when I finally broke down and sign up for photobucket. >.>

Oh, here is something that I am working on right now for my academic portfolio.

That last drawing is very pretty! How long does it take you to make your drawings, more specifically, the last one?

Water color takes quite a while, particularly I am working on a full sheet of paper on that one. Currently 2 hours in, I am projecting that I'll be working on that piece a total around 20 hours or so.

Water color is a time-consuming business, but its end results are usually very worthwhile. My mother is an artist, and she does nice watercolor landscapes and similar things.

And trust me, if you build it, they will come. People like your art, Magi, whether they know it or not. I didn't know until very recently that you made Sassu's journal banner (though most likely you didn't make it for that express purpose). I'm always interested in anything new you produce. Keep it coming!

Well, the image at sass's journal was done for her request back when I still have "request" in my thread. So it is bascially whatever purpose that she wants it to be.

and Thanks for the compliment and nice comment.

I havne't really done anything interesting recently, (just start using photobucket lol) So here are some updates.
Watercolor painting, 3 Hours. Its progressing pretty slowly. I layed down one layer of wet on wet, its hard to tell though, and then start doing some negative painting on top of it after it dried.

Another thing that I worked on a little tonight, although its hard to tell progress in a image like this. I couldn't really remember how much hour I have put into it so far, I am trying to make the coloring as neat as possible.

Maybe I'll start something new tonight, actually, I have, but it contains nudity, which photobucket does not allow, I guess I'll have to host it on my own webspace. >w< I wonder how you guys take nudity?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I absolutely love the flower picture! It's gorgeous! I can't wait to see the finished product!

The last picture you posted, is it a character for a story or comic of yours? I'm quite interested in this one as well. As I said before, you do a great job on coloring as well as drawing. I still remember the coloring you did on two avatars of mine (I still have them!).

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I can take tastefully done nudity. That one with nudity that you were hosting in your journal I was okay with, since it was not nudity with illicit intent, but was significant to the piece. Michaelangelo's "David" needs a dong.

Hey thanks vemp. Coloring is a lot of fun. Although there are several different dimension to it, shading, and the color choice is the most important component of which closely connected with each other.. Although I think it is important to practice some shading before seriousely coloring stuff though.

Admiral Amara: Ah, I see. Well, its something similar to that (the hindu goddess esque-drawing you were referring to?) Anyway, I guess I'll post something like that soon.

Lady Miyomi: I can't wait either, but I get stuck on water color sometimes, its very slow moving process. >_<;;;

The character is actually suppose to be GFF-tan. Although I name her pandora. I was thinking something along the line of creating a group of character based on some characteristic of the forum around here. I posted a activity thread but it went nowhere, so I am doing something like this on my own. I have some ideas. Thanks for the compliment.

Well, here are some name-sake for the thread.

This is Falken ADF01- Type Gama. (Its not actually a replication of the in game model from the Ace Combat, the configuration is actually quite different. )

I'll stand by my assertion that just about any object looks good when chromed.

One of the more interesting feature for the New Anim8or 9.5 Beta, is that it supports special hardware shaders, notice the bumpmap and chrome effects? those were taken in real time. >w< Although there are some stablity issues. Interestly enough, it also have somewhat reliabe transparency support. However, the hardware shortcut on this is still far from perfect.

Those leaves/flowers are coming along nicely. Is the final going to be in b&w ink wash, or color? It's kinda difficult to tell from the photo. I can't wait to see how that turns out... looks like it's gonna rock.

Its going to be color Gelfling, its watercolor afterall. Thanks for the comment.

4 hours, some of the new details are getting a bit ambiguouse. The more detail is added, the longer it takes to see progress. >w< I am planning on actually doing another layer of wet on wet on top of this.

A rough conceptual exercise, I want to basically design a hovering craft and take from the concept stage >> to modeling >> texturing >> rigging and animations/rendering. All in Anim8or.

Here is the basic concept, although from the looks of it, it is pretty much design specifically to do stuff in space. The thing under its cockpit its a mutipurpose extension modul, that basically function as a Swiss knife that preforms different function for the ship (like object retrieval, or docking/landing, etc).

A cleaner, more refine version. Although I really like the "round" sensitively of the original version. I'll probably need to combine those concept when I finally model the ship. I'll need to mentally dividing it up into pieces before I could build it. This type of visualization is always difficult for me. Interestly, people who are relatively good at working in 2D and visualization as such, doesn't always do very well in 3D.

Double Post:

Well, some update, putting together all the components, each part made out of the block approximate to the shape of the individual pieces that will be build/sculpted. This isn't exactly box modeling, which often use surface extrusion, but to get the feel of the overall model quickly, this would be a good method to use.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

I guess I clicked. Really, though--your work and coloring skills are amazing!

The leaves look great! It seems to be coming along quite nicely. The coloring on the lady also looks very nice!

As for nudity--I personally don't mind, as long as it's done in a tasteful manner.

Its a composite 3D rendering and image manipulation. Its a "fake" screenshot that's mean to throw people off. :3

I use OpenCanvas4 with a tablet. it take a lot of practice to get use to the tablet though, up until recently I still ink my picture the old fashion way (meaning, I pencil it, ink it, and clean it up with a steadler and scan in for coloring). I got Comic Studio thingy, but recently I actually just use mouse and its' tool to create curve lines to ink, its kind of a slow moving process.

Jam it back in, in the dark.
