FF XI game cards
Is there any reason final fantasy XI dosnt make subscription cards like Wow.
Is it just not popular enough? Jam it back in, in the dark. |
ITs because FFXI sucks dude.
go play Ragnarok Online The Chatroom or counterstrike There's nowhere I can't reach. |
i actully googled for Ragnarok Online The Chatroom :/.
Thought it was a game. How ya doing, buddy? |
Eh. FFXI is good if you're into immense masochism. I like the challenge it provides over WoW, at least.
And yeah, part of the reason is probably because WoW is simply so popular they need stuff like game cards. FFXI is still kicking, but no MMO out there stands up to WoW in popularity. I am a dolphin, do you want me on your body? |
meh Im changing games anyways, its way too expencive. It was a good game, but if they had game cards it might be a little better.
I was speaking idiomatically. |
lol way too expensive!!?
FFXI is 12.95$ with one character, which is still a little cheaper then the other MMORPG... and with a game card it would cost you exactly the same thing >.> I suggest you that you stop playing any MMORPG.... What kind of toxic man-thing is happening now? ![]() |
Let the fanboy speak guys.

FFXI probably doesn't have game cards due to it's lack of need?
With FFXI, you are paying a monthly fee for a character and 1 dollar more for each extra character. With WoW, you are paying a monthly fee for an account of characters. 1 game is variant and 1 game is stable. Get the logic? Game cards for FFXI would only be conveinient for those who possess only 1 character. FFXI players tend to have multiple characters. 1 main, maybe an alternate, and a stroage character. Since world jumping/hopping isn't as easy and simple as in WoW, they may even have an additional character for another server. Remember, FFXI charges 1 dollar more for each additional character you create. Also, Square-Enix Inc, producer of FFXI, probably didn't think about a game card methodology. The whole game card things seems newly introduced by Blizzard, at least thats what I think. I can't think of another game that used game cards to pay for monthly fees. And Game cards are designed to help those who do not possess credit cards to electronically pay for monthly fees. FFXI requires you to have a credit card in order to even MAKE your character. You aren't going to ever play FFXI if you cannot set up your account with a credit card. Thus, no game cards for FFXI. (I probably should of said this from the start, huh.) What, you don't want my bikini-clad body? |
Uh, Lineage has used Game cards for as long as I can remember. That game is also older than FFXI. >_> City of Heroes/Villians also uses gamecards. Actually, almost every NCSoft MMO uses gamecards.
