The Sopranos Discussion

I'm surprised there's no thread for this. Season 6, the final season, starts on 3/12 at 9:00 on HBO. It's been off for about 2 years now, I'm excited as all hell for the return.

Who do you think is going to get whacked this season? I think Vito will for sure when they find out he's a cocksucker.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Yeah The new season is finally available on digital cable so once I watch I'll have something to add. We've been waiting what like two years? Bout' damn time.

That was gross. I was surprised to find out that Vito is a cock sucker. I mean, why?

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the final season... They're doing 12 now, and then 8 for a final run.

Unless something's been changed, anyway.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

This season should be very interesting. I am looking forward to it defenitly. I mostly want to see what they are going to do with Johnny Sac being in jail since season 5 ended with him getting arrested.

I have to get HBO though I canceled it after season 5 was over.

Did any of you just see what just unfurled in the premiere of season 6? WOW. We're off to a pretty amazing start if you ask me.

Wow, that old guy really stuck it to Tony. Right in the gut, I believe. Go old guy.

Spoiler:
Crazy ass Junior Soprano shot Tony right in the gut! The episode ends with Tony calling 911, but not having enough strength to speak into the phone. The final shot is him looking straight up into the air, breathing.

There is no way they would kill off Tony with 19 more episodes to go... That would be utter insanity. Who knows though. I mean shit... It's insane that it happened either way, but wow, imagine if they killed him off like that? Amazing. Such a great way to begin a season - with a killer cliffhanger.

This has to be one of the best episodes of the Sopranos in recent memory. The long ass wait was definitely worth it.

Spoiler:
The one guy hanging himself was pretty intense. Then, on top of that, Tony gets shot right in the gut. Wow, I can't wait for next week.

Johnny Sack's wife is fapolicious, by the way. I nearly came in my pants when I saw her again.

Spoiler:
Man that was truely a strange episode. However now it shows that this season Tony is going to mostly be out of the picture and what I am thinking is there will be many problems within the family. I think everyone will get confused as to who is in power and that will start some shit between them. I am excited to see that tension though I am axious to see who gets whacked next. Also I want to see if Anthony is going to do what he says and will shoot Junior that should be very interesting to see.

Man I cannot wait for the next episode

Great episode tonight. Really powerful drama. I may have even shed a tear!

Also, anyone else thing if Anthony Soprano grew a little goatee and got a fedora he'd look exactly like Jack White?

I wish they would kill off Janice. God shes the worst, and its sickening to imagine Bobby Bacala having a child with that.

Anybody notice how insistent Vito was that he take Anthony Jr. home?

That was REALLY disturbing to me.

That was just him, as well as Pauly, sucking up the Tony's family. I don't think Vito would try any gay stuff with AJ. That would get him whacked for sure.

Johnny Sack's consigliere was giving information to the Feds for years. That's why he went down. Rats, the deus ex machina of all Mob stories.

Spoiler:
From what was shown in the previews, I assume he'll be back to talking within the next episode. How long can you really go without having your main character talk? It'll just get boring and repetitive after a while. That being said, another great episode last night. This is turning out to be one of the best seasons yet.
