Question How much time do you spend in front of your computer?

Let's see... I spend around...12 hours or more in front of my pc. Doing browsing, writing, listening music, etc. I spend about 1-3 hours for eating, taking a nap, etc. The irony is, I interact more people in internet than I have in real life.

What's yours?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Geez, that's a lot of time on the computer. It really depends how busy I am. When school starts, I spend maybe an hour max on the computer for email or something, and then any additional time would be for programming crap or doing assignments.

Currently during break, I would spend some more hours organizing what I have downloaded, burning, watching videos, or reading manga. Mostly reading manga takes up a lot of time for me since I'm too cheap to buy the books. I would much rather prefer not reading off my monitor.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Hmm I happens because I'm a homeboy. Really, I dont have much friends to hang around. Years ago I watched classical concert with my fellow during free times, but now It's not possible anymore since I moved out to another town.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

Since the break, basically when I'm not asleep or not playing a video game, I'm probably using the computer in some fashion. I would guess that to be somewhere in the 15-hour range. But in my defense, I also do things like browse the internet while watching TV, and watch DVDs on my computer, which raises the total amount of time. In addition, I watch all of my downloaded anime on my computer as well.

I only spend around 3 to 4 hours worth of my time in my computer, just to check some e-mails post some things on forums, browsing the internet etc. this are the only stuff I could benefit on using dial-up internet (it suck, really;/), plus I don't play to much PC games coz I'm really into consoles.

Oh my, it looks I do spend more time than I should. If I have nowhere to go during a day (which happens almost every day), then I'll turn on the computer at 12pm/1pm and then be on it until 1am/2am, not counting lunch/piano breaks.
So 12-13 hours is usually what I appear to have sat around doing something on the computer. There really is nothing else, since I enjoy watching anime or reading posts over watching tv or going out.
Random events like driving school and job searching have gotten me out of the house many times recently though, so it's not every day I vegetate.

God damn, you people really need to get out more. I spend a few hours maximum on the computer everyday. This consists of downloading music, checking a couple boards, and fiddling around with some games or fantasy teams.

Depending on the day, but usually 4-6 hrs. In front of MY computer. Then I go to work and spend 8 hrs in front of that one.

Don't make me angry, I might turn into the Hulk from all this monitor radiation I'm getting.

When I have class, I spend 1-2 hours total at a computer per day. I mainly check email and the forums, but I also use the time to write any essays for classes. During summer vacation, I typically stay on for an extra hour or so.

Not really, I actually want to hang around with my friends. But just as I said, my friends are few that have same style like me, I'm not typical guy who goes to clubbing in weekend or watching movies. I'm typical of bookworm who enjoy listening to classical music concert or practicing piano when I'm bored. Since I moved to a new place, I dont have my piano anymore, thus my laptop becomes my best friend. I'm not antisocial, but I'm in society where I'm not really belong to.

I don't normally get time to be on the computer until the evening. Since I usually have to work during the day and have college when I don't work.

Max hours daily is around 3 hours. Mostly consists of me downloading music, checking my E-mail, browsing forums, and checking sports scores.

It varies wildly. I'm only taking 1 class this summer (Summer semester started a couple weeks ago over here), and it's been a breeze so far, so I'm seeing a surprising 12 hours a day, mabye even more on weekends. I'm enjoying all this free time, come late August, the number might lower dramatically to like 2.

No more than six hours, and I don't work in front of a computer. I like the net as much as anyone, but I find any more time than that would lead to some kind of negative effect on my body. Aches and pains. RSI.

Maybe about 10 - 12 hours, which is including the time spent at school. Though most of those hours are contributed to school since I have no other choice but to do school work in front of a computer.

I have classes, work (at multiple locations. Jewelery shop plus the farm), the gym/rec center, and other issues on-campus. During the semester, depending on the load, I'll spend very little time at the computer. Last semester was the busiest I'd ever been in all my years. I can't even fathom how in the hell I managed to run The Truth Hurts, now that I think about it. One to two hours on the computer total across a few days. If I was ever on for an extended amount of time, it was researching a subject or typing something up.

Weekends last semester I was damn busy as well.

But ever since I got off around May 9th, I've been glued to my computer, PS2, and Saturn.

I finally got my mod-chip working right in my Saturn and I've been obsessed with Panzer Dragoon Saga (finally playing it <3). Computer I go off and on throughout the day. I play WoW a lot. Made a Horde character about May 12th. I've already docked a day and a half worth of play-time on him.

School is starting tomorrow ;_____________________; Damn summer school. But they're chump courses! I'll end up getting online around 2pm as opposed to 12pm every day. Got an online class to deal with. S'no biggie. But my hours will be nicer after the first five weeks.

How much time? Lots. But everyone spends time on the net nowadays. I DID INTERNET BEFORE IT WAS COOL, OK? =(

There's nowhere I can't reach.

Yeah, me too. The Web was dull back then. It had obvious potential, but not the same degree of value or interest to the everyday user. Usenet was where it was at. I both do and don't miss those days.

Well thanks to Kairyu's clear info I know exactly how long I leave my comp on, my comp stays on for about 10-12 hours a day, although I about half of that is spent while I am not in the room because I rather watch TV or something and let my BT run.

Far too much. If I'm home, I'm basically in front of my PC. I may not always be using it, but since I'm almost always in my room, it follows that I'm almost always in front of my PC.

On my work days, I'm on anywhere from 3 to 8 hours depending on when I need to work the next day and whether or not I feel like doing something aside from playing City of Villains. On my days off I could easily use the computer all day unless I wanna watch a DVD or something.

Too much also but that's because of work....
About 8 to 9 hrs at work and another 3 to 4 at home.
However on weekends if I don't have anything to do probably about 4 to 5 hrs.
It's a miracle I don't have to wear glasses...

It depends, as most people have said.

Usually it's around 3-5 hours, though sometimes (and it's been happening a lot recently) I may spend 10+ hours on the computer.
