What do you use to download single songs?

Sometimes I hear songs on the radio that I like, but I don't know where's a good place to download it from, aside from getting the whole track off some BT search site. I used to use AudioGalaxy, before it crapped out, and now I can still use WinMX, but it just doesn't seem to have a lot of users anymore, and I can't find any older songs. KaZaA Lite, well, that thing just sucks shit and is full of spyware or whatever ware it's got, and I don't have nearly the sharing power I want to download off DC++, so do you all have any ideas?

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Try Shareaza. It connects to the eDonky , Gnutella and Gnutella2 networks. I won't describe it in depth though, becuase it's already been brought up in another thread, and you can just as easily google it.

Same suggestion. There's also the fact that Shareaza was released under GNU license so you can be sure it doesn't have ad-ware.

This thing is sticky, and I don't like it. I don't appreciate it.

LimeWire Pro is amazing. I'm sure you could find a copy on most torrent sites.

Soulseek has worked wonders for me, as Grawl said.

It's not as popular as Limewire so it might not be the best right now but I've gotten most songs I've wanted from it.

I don't try to use the program everyone uses. I feel you have a better chance of the FBI getting in your pants when you use programs everyone uses and knows about.

99% of the time, FTPs. Other than that, Limewire.

I mainly just use the FTPs in GFF, or through torrents in places like iso-hunt, etc. I'd request some in the Requests Audio section, but lots of stuff I want are rare, so my chances of finding them are close to nil.

I used to use Napster and KaZaa back in their day, but those days are over.

Im use a Ftp conection, or using emule to download music, or single tracks, the bittorents are my third option, but not only have a good availabilty and some torrents doesn't work without seeds.

How ya doing, buddy?

If I need a single track I usually just pop onto Limewire to get it. Chances are I end up buying the album though so in the end it doesn't matter.
